Elven

Not be confused with “Elfish/Eladrin” of the Fae nature.

Elves are recent existence into the region of Cideron. While the climate of Cideron is typically temperate, most elves aspire to live in warmer, more forested areas. Elves are the protectors of nature in this world, and it is said that from Elves began all the races of Creaturekind across the world. Exclusively for some elves, the worship of a Creation God still exists amongst their people. In their creation story, the God Enoch sought to make forth as many creatures as he could upon the world. However, upon making Elven first, he found it impossible to delineate from the original creation, and while each animal obviously is different from Elves, Elves have the unique ability to breed amongst any number of species, and have had successful hybrids with several of the species. Initially, it is said that the races of Alsana, Wuldran, and Gethura are descended from Elves who joined in love with the Gods themselves. Since many Elves have a near-endless life, some have wondered if the Elves themselves are the Gods incarnate upon the rock. This theory is widely considered false, but it is possible to run into a cult built around an elf, who has proclaimed themselves a God.

Elves are by natural tendency, drawn to forest, and nature itself. Elves can begin to experience a primal nature and remain safe from harm among any forest of the common world. Elves have the unique ability to tap into the mind and learn what they can from animals, and they are so far the only species that willingly becomes Rangers and Druids. Elves are 6’ to 6’6" in height, and 160-200 lbs for the average male. Elven Society is Egalitarian, where men and women fight side-by-side, and their hosts of kingdoms are ruled by kings and queens alike. Elves are the most sought after bride or groom for most species, and as such have the ability to wield their possible influence preemptively.
